Production Expenses
Digital or inkjet contact sheets - £20.00 per contact sheet.
*Processed digital image file - £15.00 per file.
Bulk processing of digital files - £100.00 per hour for orders over 7 files (minimum fee one hour)
Retouching and image manipulation - £100.00 per hour.
Web Gallery of images - £40.00
Burning files to CD - £10.00 per CD
Burning files to DVD - £20.00 per DVD
Digital Transmission / e-mail - £20.00 for up to 10 images.
Each further transmission after the first 10 - £2.00 surcharge on each image (£15.00 plus £2.00 = £17.00)
Travel / Mileage - £00.50 per mile (discounted if distance is over 100 miles)
VAT is added at the standard rate
*A processed digital image file is a file that is cleaned, cropped and colour corrected for appropriate use in print or the Web, and captioned with IPTC information.
Licensing & Usage
Our aim is to produce & provide you with images to meet your advertising & marketing needs - we use The Association of Photographers pricing structure to help determine what the budget and final price should be.
Therefore to give an estimate for a job, we require the following information:
1. Type of images required.
2. Number of images required.
3. Location, were the images will be taken.
4. Media use (see list below).
5. Period of use (1 year, 2 years, 3 years, etc).
6. Territory (UK & Ireland, Europe, USA, English language area, Worldwide).
Based on this information we will have a better understanding of your needs.
When quoting we will always quote you the Base Usage Rate (BUR). This is the starting figure which will include all our production costs from the start of the job to the final delivery of the images. It's based on producing images exclusive for you (the client) to use for:
Media use: 2 media.
Period of use: 1 year.
Territory: UK & Ireland.
If you require more or less use than this, then the price will be adjusted accordingly, in line with the AOP's pricing guidelines.
